One Step Touching for a Healthy Life

The third resident to be admitted after the opening of So* Nursing Home was discharged last week. On the day the senior was admitted to the nursing home, we made a promise to the guardian that we would dedicate ourselves to the senior’s walking rehabilitation and work toward their eventual discharge.

Given the senior’s emotional condition, which required consistent emotional support, we made sure to communicate, empathize, and encourage them filling each day at Sorae with care and meaning.

The support and effort, built on the deep affection shared with the senior, began to show meaningful results. As the senior’s bright smile grew more beautiful each day and their eyes became clearer, the end of their walking rehabilitation journey also began to come into view.

Someone who once struggled to walk without assistance was now able to walk independently — confidently, without a walker or even a cane. Sorae’s pride and joy! The senior has finally been discharged due to improved health. Though it is said that all who meet must part, the guardian shed tears of gratitude, and the director, feeling deep sadness at the farewell, parted with the senior in tears.
